Wild Red Tailed Hawk fly scream dive & Kestrel Eagle Bobcat

Wild red Tailed Hawk showing its flight, purching, swooping, diving, and its wide variety of sounds including screams and other cries. Hawks use tools. This wild red tailed hawk waits by the road for a driver to kill something for its dinner. Its red tail showed up well in the morning sunlight. Note that when it is shown flying, it appeared to drop something, but this was a smaller bird that seemed to just drop out of the sky. The crows can be heard cawing at the hawk. It is unknown whether hawks prey on adult crows, but they do on young. Thus the crows try to keep hawks and owls away. Often a hawk or an owl is surrounded by calling crows (maybe this is why owls are nocturnal). (Photographed by Scott on our farm.) The red tailed hawk is a large powerful bird. They can weigh around 2-4 lbs. and have almost a six foot wingspan. They have a sharp, strong, powerful beak and curved talons. They tear prey apart with their beaks. The red tails of these hawks showed up several times. Also shown are a captive kestrel, screech owl, bobcat, and a swan. An eagle and large eagle nest is also shown. Also shown is a wild raccoon (actually there were two of them) inspecting an Ohio State Fair building. The Kestral is a falcon with a russet back and tail and double black stripes on a white face. They have beautiful multicolored feathers and a "Killy, Killy, Killy call. They are graceful, swift fliers and are often found perched on telephone poles near farms. Also called a Sparrow Hawk, they are North America's smallest bird of prey. A true "Spirit in the Sky." Vocalize Additional Hawk videos include: HAWKS VS.
