when i was 11 i saved up all summer and bought the complete beatles collection for $311. best thing that i have ever bought! I'll never get tired of the beatles!!!!!!!

I was in 7th grade. A few days after their Ed Sullivan Show appearance, one girl came to school selling black & white photos of the Beatles that she took of them off the tv! I bought one of Paul, but later gave it away. Silly me!

I was four when I saw them play on the Ed Sullivan Show on TV for the first time (1964). I remember it well, because my parents turned off the TV in disgust. But they later became great Beatles fans, when my dad brought home Abbey Road and Let It Be. I became a fan when I saw them play "Hey, Jude" on a talk show in 1968.
