I don't know what bring human-beings closer, but the Quran and the teaching of the Prophet (SAW) does. I am just a regular person that's trying to do my best in worshiping Allah. And I am something, a human-beings that Allah made, someone that is worth something to Allah. Therefore, I suggest YOU follow Islam to the best of YOUR ability according to Allah and the Prophet (SAW) and YOU have respect to another human-being.

Do you really think Allah is so limited that only one thing will bring us closer to him? Who are you and how do you know what brings another human being (aka CREATURE and SERVANT OF ALLAH) closer to their creator? How do u know what brings people closer? Who are you? You are nothing. I suggest you follow your own beliefs and have respect!

Are you so arrogant to think you are the Creator himself to judge what brings you closer to God or not? How do u know that? Can u read peoples hearts? ONLY ALLAH (SWT) KNOWS INTENTION OF THE HEART.
So have some shame and let ALLAH do the judging, because you are nothing, i am nothing, we are nothing, just creatures of Allah!
Arrogance leads to blindness, brother u need to be careful with that, this kind of attitude is bad in Islam.

Sufism?!?!---can't judge it really, but very unsure of it...
is there going to be another brand of Muslims because it seems like it.
Seriously, did Prophet Muhammad (SAW) or the Quran say dancing and whirling in circles brings you close to Allah or just doing music and reading poetry, and why do Sufi put so must emphasize on Rumi then Prophet Muhammad (SAW), or is that too extreme nowadays.
And Gnosticism?!?!-what is that really, it sounds like it some kind of pagan ideology.
