Merci de nous permettre de découvrir cela, à des années lumière en effet de ce qui émane de Williams, a gem...

the song was recorded on june 12, 1928 (but emmett miller seems to have been singing it for at least five or six years)

I thought Hank Williams did the first version of this song, thank you for posting this! Do you know in which year this came out? :)

Thanks for posting this! I'm a huge fan of this song and have been performing it for years! It's great to see that some people still care about the history of music and where it comes from. Thanks again! James Hunnicutt

This is a truly rare gem, even though Miller's version didn't sky-rocket like Hank's version. Two different eras.

Bob Dylan sounds like a fart in a box, and was a cheap copy of better, far older, genuine folk musicians, which he commercially regurgitated for culturally ignorant hippies. Emmett Miller was 40 years before him, anyway.

i see you like bob wills, if you knew how much bob wills loved emmett miller, you'd try listening to his version of lovesick blues a million times before saying stupid things like this ....

Wow..I definately like the Hank Williams version better, this guy has an annoying voice, sounds like he sucked the helium out of a balloon lol.

Sounds like Bob Dylan.
