look everyone heres yhuur proof its mariah carey's song: "Fantasy" is a song co-written and co-produced by American singer Mariah Carey and Dave Hall, and recorded for Carey's sixth album Daydream (1995). It is built around a sample of the Tom Tom Club's single "Genius of Love" (1982), which was written by Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz, Steven Stanley and Adrian Belew. It was released as the album's first single in 1995 (see 1995 in music).

Owen Pallett frequently plays live with Arcade Fire, and is credited for collaborating on the string arrangements for Funeral and Neon Bible.

of course I know mariah's used the bassline from Genius of Love, I HAVE BOTH SONGS, about Owen Pallett, I saw on wikipedia that he was the composer of the song, but I think they were wrong and rewrote the whole article 'cause I can't find it anymore.
ok?? now will everyone leave me alone??

What kind of musician doesn't appreciate the audience cheering and enjoying his performance? Are you retarded? It's not like they're yelling and throwing beer bottles.

Apparently you're not fluent in music history, either. "Fantasy" is Mariah Carey's song, from 1995. Look it up.
BetNoire (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
The song is a cover, the original came out before Final Fantasy even had an album. The Maria Carey version however borrows its bassline from a song called Genius of love by tom tom club.
lucy0loves0music (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
he's the composer of this song.
Mariah made a cover of HIS song.
He did NOT make a cover from Mariah.
So, he's the one who has to be proud.
Sorry for not being fluent in english. Never went to a professional school to learn it better.
