this is good old school konpa...it reminds me of shleu shleu rehersals at Babaco (Delmas) in the early 80's...good stuff here.

Wow, this is an interpretation of Weber Seiko from the 60s. He and Neymour Jean-Baptiste had introduced the KOMPA music in Haiti. One of the Great Original Kompa songs. There was no keyborad at that time. It used to be an accordion. My dad had that record in the house when I was a kid. I still remember this song. He is 70 years old now. I will show him this video too. They may call it zouk other places, but it is kompa and will always take over. KOMPA MUSIQUE POUR LA VIE
