TNT4Th3Brain (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
meant this as a reply to : TheProdigy87 (4 days ago) lol...yeah sure, take the best the US has to offer and let it race with the baby lambo
TNT4Th3Brain (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)

kabanosi (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
that's the impala from pimp my ride
BoltActions (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Whenever you PUSH a car in turns the tires will "squeal". I don't know much about other road courses. I am just concerned about Leguna Seca because I live in California. Do you realize the difference in price between the Trans Am and the closest BMW "sports car"? Mind showing a video where a $30k stock BMW passed up a Trans Am? Thats cool. You drove a Mustang. At least you have SOME... REAL car knowledge. Unlike half of the other people who bash American cars, but that doesn't say much :P
TheProdigy87 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
yeah yeah alright, i might have misunderstood the word "powertrain"... and yeah i know laguna seca but "le mans" is in france wise ass...what you mean are the petit le mans races you mean this one watch?v=XRpCmj3HNvk ? uhm, you hear the tyres squeak? that is surely a sign of a crappy suspension and a heavy car...and btw. porSche and bmw are no sportscars (esp. those in that clip), also it's not a sign that the car is better, the driver just has more exp. and NO, i've driven the mustang...
BoltActions (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Do you know what the "powertrain" is (and what components are apart of it)? That is what I was referring to in my last comment. Do you remember? Do you know how many ROAD RACE COURSES are here in the US? Leguna Seca and Le Mans are just two. Search for "2002 Pontiac Trans Am lap". A BMW got passed up. There are videos on other sites with a Porche driver being shown the taillights. "Latest Mustang"? That is at least ONE car that you....HEARD of...
TheProdigy87 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
sure, and the transmission doesn't matter...? also the lambo has the standard interior layout, standard tyres. and believe me, i know enough about us-american (muscle-)cars, the american way of driving and the love to the old traditions like nascar and big, heavy and dull V8 engines or high-power sportscars with crappy suspension and chassis (referring to the latest mustang and some others)
BoltActions (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
This race tests nothing but the POWERTRAIN. The Lambo as you can see has less accelerating power than that Impala. If you knew anything about American cars, then you wouldn't be saying that "most" of the ones that were built for PERFORMANCE (the Impala you see here is a family car...with the engine/powertrain upgraded by the owner) can't handle turns. I will leave that BROAD subject at that.
TheProdigy87 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
the gallardo is designed for handling and and something called "turns", while all that impala can do is running a straight line (like almost every us-american car). i don't think that's what you call a race between "equals"
