that's funny, you can probably get a minivan to do 0-60 in 7.5

When the bike came out in 1969, those were the performance numbers that they arrived at. They 750's were made better and faster as the years went on.

You're right, the CB750 is way faster than 7.5 secs. It does 0-60 in 3.8 to 4 secs and the quarter mile in 12.4secs at 108mph. Topspeed is 127mph.

The bike is way faster 0-60 than 7.5 seconds... I dont know where they got that number.

i recently discovered a 1970 cb750 rotting away in the backwoods not far from me. Its so rusted and rotted away its beyond repair. :-( But at least i could save a few parts from it to rebuild a cl175 im working on :-)

YOUR FORGET M/C FUN FACTOR... How can a "boring" Motorcycle being rated as the second best M/C ever?????
connell10 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
They also make the CB250 Nighthawk. It's a wretched little bike, but at least it's exciting to ride....because of the pathetic drum front brake and limp noodle forks. I'm with you on the ever increasing size, a 900lb motorcycle is not much fun in curves or parking lots, but they sell pretty well. I'd take any nice CB750 over most new cruisers myself. Too bad my CB750 had its forks pushed through the headers by a lady in a Mustang. ;(

this is the reason why rednecks are so jealous and enviest of honda.......they claim that harley davidson is the best, LOL
