Bruce Lee invented JKD, but wing chun a kung fu style and also the only style invented by a woman was Bruce Lee's first style he learned. If you ever see Bruce Lee make his enemys arms go the the sides so the front body is open then do a like 100000000 little fast punches to the chest thats a move from wing chun, also most his blocks and hand techinques are from WC but also some his strikes are from boxing, this is why is JKD, he mixed many styles together, but the base of his JKD is WC =)

I think the best thing that seperates this film from other martial arts films is that its just straight up brutal muay thai. none of that fluttery wing chun stuff here. it does have its cheesy moments, but its all good it has its cheesy moments though. but its chill
