Some time ago a lot of Spurs fans (& many owners of the club) were (North London has a large jewish population) Jewish. Fans from rival clubs would shout anti-semitic abuse at the club because of this. So Spurs fans adopted the term yid as a badge of honour, to show they did not care & support our Jewish members.
Villa's goal is maybe Spurs' greatest, in a very important game too, the 1981 FA Cup final.
I'm suprised a World Cup winner does not get more credit in your country.

Beautiful, very moving and classy.
I'm from Argentina, and I'd love it if someone could explain the meaning of "Yid" or its cultural background, where did the word come from, etc.
It amazes me that they still show Villa's goal. He's much more popular over there than here, and I feel that goal should be given a lot of credit here as well.

OMG! This video is making me get all emotional inside, I fell real proud to be a Spurs fan... I get loads of shit from school because of it as well but I just stick my finger in the air and sing "COME ON YOU SPURS!!!" Great video mate.

We can get into the Champions League, Ramos won't settle for less. With the players we have, we are good enough to, we just need a good start in the Prem next season. Who knows. :)
