just b/c its on Wikipedia not everything there is true.
And this game was based on some fictional characters and FICTIONAL storyline. And the origin of the characters are all from Chinese Dynasty.

You are quite wrong. It is quite correct to call this period of history in Japan as "Middle Age" or "Medieval". These quotes come from Wikipedia:
The Kamakura period, 1185 to 1333, is a period that marks the governance of the Kamakura Shogunate and the transition to the Japanese "medieval" era,
The Kamakura period is also said to be the beginning of the "Japanese Middle Ages", which also includes the Muromachi period and lasted until the Meiji Restoration.

Jpan never had a middle age. Thats only in Europe. Asia had the fudal era instead which was MUCH longer and was based off of land than anything else.

What's with the Japanese adding all these explosions and energy beams and all that into Middle Ages sword fighting? I as an European cannot understand it. A realistic Middle Ages Japan would be so interesting game world.
