(July 23)The darkness around Batman deepens. Christian Bale, star of 'The Dark Knight,' was arrested in London Tuesday - where his mother and sister reportedly filed charges that he assaulted them. Bale says the accusations are false. He was released on bail after he was questioned by London police. Bale spoke with authorities for four hours but wasn't charged. Kid Rock has been sentenced to a year's probation and fined 1,000-dollars for his role in a fight at a suburban Atlanta Waffle House last fall. (July 22) It's a year's probation and a 1000-thousand dollar fine for Kid Rock. A Georgia court handed down the verdict Monday. It stems from his role in a fight - caught on this surveillance video - at a suburban Atlanta Waffle House last fall. He was also sentenced to anger management counseling and 80 hours of community service.Another first for OK! magazine. The upcoming issue features the first public baby pictures of Eli- the new baby boy of Matthew McConaughey and his longtime girlfriend Camila Alves. Eli, the couple's first child - was born July 8th. In recent weeks OK! also had baby exclusives with Jessica Alba and Jamie Lynn Spears.'Golden Girl' Estelle Getty has died. She spent 40 years struggling for success before she landed the role of the sarcastic octogenarian Sophia on the TV show, 'The Golden Girls' in 1985. Her son says Getty suffered from advanced dementia. She was 84.
