right. the Final Cut is my least favourite as well but it does have some poignant pieces.
but give Roger Waters his due. instead of going for a sure commerical success and make loads of money, he chose to make a very personal album about his fathers death in WWII and he did not want the etheral sound of traditional pf to dilute that message.

Yeah, The Wall and The Final Cut involved Roger's douchebaggery which rendered Nick and Rick pretty much useless. Hell, even Dave had a limited input.
No wonder it's my least favourite album.
