Quisp "Can't Have You"
Quisp captured here at Channel 29. This lineup including Joe "Piss Drunk" Johnson on guitar (left of center). Mike Robson (CXQ5, Whores of Babylon) plays the drums. Vocals and guitar by Allen Ensign while bass chores are covered by Mark "Wolfman" Wolford. Always an energetic band, Quisp played shows from 1993 - 1997 in and around the Seattle area. The band played a lot of shows, recorded and were filmed, as they are here captured on Soundscape by Soundscape Productions and produced and directed by Deidre Anders. The original footage was edited and transferred by Rob Hursh (Whalebone Productions) and co-edited by Allen Ensign for enkimusic. This clip actually is the first published example of Quisp, and I hope to follow it up with others.

thanks for the comments; actually to name a band Quisp and rock and look like us,is Genius. One time we had a fellow in the band. He was friends with Mark Arm (Greenriver, Mudhoney). Mark suggested the name Quisp, rather than Pink Purple; name of the acoustic band from which Quisp spawned. We changed our name and became a full blown rock band. Sometimes we were as loud as Blue Cheer. Everyone with the exception of the lead singer were young enough to have lived through the Quisp & Quake.
