"Do tell" fuck me, The Wire is the best thing out there. In the UK we can only dream of having a TV show like this. Closest thing we got is Doctor Who in terms of ideas.

you don't get my meaning. what i meant was that in the history of civilized societies, never before have we seen the level of corruption and degredation within its walls. sure, barbarian encampments and guerilla terrorists throughout history have been and done worse, but not within the confines of an established states perimeters. this is like rome allowing the visigoths to roam free within their borders terrorizing and destroying the entire inner country |
