I always thought that I was the only person who loved this show. I'm glad that others did too. I wish they would finish releasing the other seasons.

is it just me or was she acting like mama at 0:27 just before she hung up the phone when she said "She's an older woman about my height". She had that same cranky manner Mama did in the syndication episodes

Vicki Lawrence is so talented! She was able to be in the audience as Mama and then up on the panel at the same time. How does she do it?

im not sure but i believe Iola was the replacement of "Aunt Fran" -Thelma's younger sister. Who was about 5-10 years younger. I suppose Iola just related more to older people.

what do u mean you don't get how they were such good friends? I don't understand your question? They both went to the same church and had the same interests, not too mention Iola constantly visited. I don't think Mama ever once visited Iola at her place. lmao! In fact, Mama has never even been shown inside of Iola's house. lmao! Iola was more of a visitor who overstayed her welcome. Also, if no one got what I meant about Leah Remini, youtube Leah Remini on the Ellen show. lmao!

omg! This has been one of my top favorite shows for at least the past 10 years. I can't believe I never knew this reunion existed! I guess I was too young when it aired. Thank you so much!

Vicki reminds me of Leah Remini. They both go slightly too far with the joking and become offensive, but it's always funny, but I'm just not sure how funny it is to the people they're directing their remarks too. As some examples, the whole "I'm younger than everyone here" comment "Naomi's a slut" comment. lol! It's like damn lol!
