alot of people here need to look up history. Im not saying your ignorant. But, throughout history the occupation of a country with out ownership of said country always results in an uprising. War is war, the innocent will die. The united states killed 200+ thousand people with the atom bomb. but it saved more lives. War is war and it will always be here and its inhumanity will always be here. The innocent die. The IRA did what they had to, the british did what they wanted to.thats the difference

As far as we are concerned, any filthy terrorist dead is one more for the eternal flames of Hell. And you display a total lack of knowledge. Any other army would have shown just how prfessional the British Army is. There would have been mass killing of all IRA suspects, mind you that would have solved the problem quicker!

and anyone in or associated with the ira deserves to be hunted down n have their nails pulled out for 1, being a terririst and 2, fighting against their queen!! because like it or not northern ireland is still british and will be for the foreseable future. how can you call someone a martyr for starving themself, personally thats just stupid, byt hey it was less for the paras to kill.....

As far as im concerned any british soldier shot by the IRA was right , Ye shouldent have been there in the first place , Ye started something ye couldent finish and where are ye know??? Back home in england and the IRA are a guerila army .. There wasent 2 thousand IRA men why would they come out in the open and get shot ???.. They terorised your army in most areas .and proper fight what would that be like ?? Maybe shoting unarmed cizillians in the back maybe ????

the ira's way of killing was by bomb or taking ppl to derelict wasteland n puttin 1 in the head now i and most ppl see that as an execution! if you know of any videos of the ira taking on the british army in a proper fight n not just a shoot n scoot let me know plz

Its not forgot The IRA's killing are well Known because some of them were wrong and remember the IRA are a para millatary while the brits are suposed to be a proffesional army yet they couldent take a few rocks geting trown at them..
