well the thud was actually the plane becoming airborne again and the struts topped out. we landed pretty hard and had a good bounce then landed a second time. too hard to tell from the video though

The "thud" after touching was actually the landing gear axis slamming to the ground, the two rear tires touchdown, then the front tires descend to make contact with the ground. it wasn't the second touchdown that you heard.

Hay mikey69up even though the landing is never smooth any landing a pilot or passengers can walk away from is a good landing.

when i used to live there i always would love driving on the 5? i think that freeway was the 5, and watching the planes fly right over our car. im headin there monday! great video btw
