You guys are idiots who just like to argue about shit that doesn't matter. Everyone is a person not a color, just enjoy the music.

Clark Terry: "A note don't care who blows it, no matter if you're white, black, purple or opaque." Grow up, guys.

I love Tyner's style . . . good example of his style around 1:48 to 2:40. Pure bliss. Thanks for posting this.

Bullshit. You know where Wayne Shorter and the likes were getting their crazy harmonic ideas? They got it from listening to modern classical like Stravinsky. Never mind Tal Farlow, Joe Venuti, Django Reindhardt, Stephane Grappelli, Jelly Roll Morton, Benny Goodman, Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa, Dave Brubeck, Steve Gadd, Chick Corea, Keith Jarrett, Joe Pass, Lenny Breau, and the list goes on but I'm getting bored.

there may equal contributors in instruments but really in nothing else. The style of jazz music was developed over time by guys like Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, John Coltrane Cannonball herbie hancock Wayne Shorter, all of those guys being black. There are a few white guys who contributed to the growth of jazz like bill evans and joe zawinul. But the impact is not as big as from the black players

He's fast. That's about all I can say in favour, I'm unimpressed with the music of this. Mr. PC is a nice enough track, somewhat butchered by the 'speed jazz' element here.

This goes to everybody here... you could probably end this discussion by providing some sources to back up any one of your points? Just saying...
