It seems that many Jews reject the idea of Jesus because Christians (or those that claimed to be) persecuted their people. Certainly terrible things were done to the Jews but nobody seems to look at how the Jews treated the early believers who were of their own race.
Also nobody asks where God was in all of this but he did say Jews would "bear the scorn of the nations". He also said he would call his people back to their land and he has done this causing people in all nations to rejoice

A lot of jews feel they are fullfilled in doing the 613 mitzvos.But they have no idea the joy and peace that is possible to them in having peace with Hashem through the messiah of irseal-yeshua.many feel more jewish after yeshua becomes king in their lives.there are many prophesies which speak of the messiah king like Micah 5:2 which decribes where he will be born.Many jews all over the world are recognising jesus was a jew and he is the messiah of israel.Then they spiritually become aliveto God

its very sad church history the way that they have treated jews who are Gods people.But it does not negate the fact the Yeshua in fulfillment of the jewish-old testament scriptures is the messiah of israel.there are about 7 thousand messianic jews in israel many of whom keep some of the mitzvos and remain jews.I went to shemen sason too its a great fellowship in Jerusalem.Seek me and you Will find me say the G-d of Israel.

You are right to a certain extent. Martin Luther was raised Catholic and became a monk. Even though he reformed Christianity for all to have access to the scriptures, he was an anti-Semite in having been raised Catholic. The Catholic Church, as history has played out, held a very anti-Semitic stance against Jews. Look at WWII and the lack of the Church's response to the Holocaust.

shnaz65=Messianic Judaism is a legitimate branch of Judaism and it is the fulfillment of Biblical Judaism and the Torah. It's actually 2000 years old dating back to the time of the Messiah Yeshua and it is not Christianity in disguise. Only Roman Catholicism is Christianity, including Protestantism and Eastern Orthodoxy.

shnaz65=Read Daniel 9:24-26, it speaks about the appointed time of the Messiah. He had to come, be crucified and resurrect on the third day before the destruction of the Second Temple. Yeshua was crucified, resurrected and ascended around 30 A.D. or 33 A.D. and later in 70 A.D, the Roman Army under General Titus smashed Jerusalem and destroyed the Second Temple in fulfillment of that prophecy. You have a choice, either Yeshua (JESUS) is the Messiah or there is none.
