You mean many Americans didn't like it. Blur are my favorite band and I'm American. We can be open minded if you didn't know. Both British and American music have really good songs/bands and bad ones.

I like this video,... and the music... are good!

it doesnt really matter if oasis or blur are better. all that matters is that british music was, and is better then american music. and that oasis and blur helped make this happen in the 90's pulp too. just because something didnt sell in america dont mean it was bad it just means america didnt like it.

blur is blur and oasis is oasis the best bands britain pop-rock alternative country house and champagne supernova the most singles

I'd say Oasis appealed more to the masses and wrote songs that everyone could like. Blur wrote stuff that maybe not everyone would like, but to those who did, liked it more and deeper down. Both are great bands.

i love the irony of this track, the quite depressing content, a man destroyed by busy, inner city life trying to escape to a better life in the country but for it not really to work, done in a brilliant brit pop way, perfect.

cuttoothom (October 8, 2008 at 2:18 pm)
but Oasis, great as a few of their songs are, is really a one-trick pony. Blur has so much more to it.
