damn... that's terrible, I discovered this band the same way you did. I bought the record a month or two after it came out and absolutely loved it. I saw these guys at Bumbershoot I think it was in Seattle back in 96 or maybe 95 somewhere around in there. My memory is a little hazy, it was over a decade ago and I was only about 14, anyway they were very well received and I would've guessed we'd be seeing a lot more of them, boy was I wrong.

Another band that just wasn't destined to "make it." I came across this video in the middle of the night back when it had just come out and, yeah, I liked it - I bought the album, fun stuff. They were planning on playing Las Vegas - where I lived at the time - and tickets were something like $6.00, Schleprock and three other bands.
The show was canceled a week before they were to play due to lack of interest ... only something like five tickets had sold at the 2,500+ venue. And that was it.
