BP Increases Toxic Sludge Dumping into Lake Michigan
BP will now be allowed to dump an average of 1,584 pounds of ammonia and 4,925 pounds of sludge mixed with 21 million gallons of contaminated wastewater into Lake Michigan EVERY DAY. An immediate boycott of BP is necessary.

In the United States, BP markets their products and services under five name brands so if you don't agree with what they are doing, don't give them any of your money!
1. BP
2. Amoco
3. ARCO
4. am/pm
5. Castrol

I believe the proposal to allow increased dumping of ammonia and toxic sludge into Lake Michigan from British Petroleum's oil refinery in Whiting, Indiana is unconscionable. Certainly a company that claims to be "Beyond Petroleum" can also be beyond polluting our waters.
Please halt progress on this proposal now and find a way to deal with the waste this plant produces other than dumping more of it into Lake Michigan.
