Yeah, you right. I was never a big Jay-Z fan but once I started listenin' to his newer shit, I started realizin' he really is the best rapper out today. He just goes from the top of his head, and the shit makes sense. If he ever does fully retire, Rap will never be the same.

Immortal technique isn't even a good freestyler, all he has going for him is some deep songs like You never know & dance with the devil. Technically he's average, this is coming from someone who's listened to him for years.
Jay-z is miles ahead of him and the majority of other rappers, there are very few I'd place above him.
