Like BrianScottHarris said the docu is about that specific joke about it being an insiders joke among comedians etc.
If it where a docu about jokes in general it would be a completely diffrent documentary.

No, the documentary "The Aristoctrats" is all about the joke itself, the history of its origins, and has a bunch of different comedians telling their own versions.

the documentary is about how to tell a joke not about the aristocrats. they just chose chose the dirtist joke as an example

Dunno, its a pretty old joke.
Its kind of an insider joke that stand up comedians tell eachother. There is an documentary about it called The Aristocrats.
