This is for all of those who hate Los Angeles and with it never existed, or had a bad expieriance with the city and hated it ever since. To those who love LA like me, I'm sorry, I couldn't resist. This was a pet project one of my students wanted to do for such a long time. The only problem was: he did not have that many LA themed action or disaster movies at his disposal. I will not disclose his name. The movies he used: Volcano Dia Hard The Day After Tomorrow Speed Dragon Wars Terminator Terminator 2 Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines Independace Day 1941 Last Action Hero Lethal Weapon Transformers

you forgot to add scenes from Escape from L.A., because if there is a movie that this song is meant for is Escape from L.A. I do think I love L.A. Is in the credits of Escape from L.A.

I guess it's the irony. I enjoy it as much as you do. :)

That was awesome. But it is true, New York gets just as destroyed as LA. But there is a difference: When New York gets destroyed, it's tragic; when it happens to LA, it's farce. Imagine playing Sinatra's "New York, New York" to the destruction of Manhattan. It's not as fun. I'm from LA and love LA (just like Randy Newman!), but there's something cool about seeing your city get messed up by aliens or by a volcano.
