Of course. Hell, there was once a show about papparazzi's. One of them was daring a bodyguard to hit him so he could sue back. A fan could do the same.

When did I say he needed to kick ass? Just b/c you're a great fighter doesn't mean that your job is to fight. Most bodyguards in the world are trained to fight. Jackie hired him b/c he could hold his own against crazy fans.
