i hate it when a good song suddenly goes to shit when the chorus comes along... the rest of the song is good apart from the cheesy ass woody bullshit LOL... the verses are great! and the tune but what the hell is woody boogie lol

this may sound out of the blue, but i'm really trying to piece together jim mcshane's background and if anyone has any information regarding his derry/italian upbringing/why he moved to italy and the life between derry and italy and then fronting baltimora, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks!!

wow, never saw the video before. didn't know they even made one. the lyrics are so campy. I still listen to my Living In The Background album & this is my second track fav track to Tarzan Boy.

Baltimora hizo la primera aparición musical a mediados de 1985 con "Living in the Background", que contiene el gran hit "Tarzan Boy", un definitivo éxito de la escena synthpop ochentera. El single vino acompañado de un colorista vídeoclip que usaba una estética cercana al cómic. McShane era gay y se cree que Tarzan Boy habla lo propio de su homosexualidad. Mc Shane falleció el 29 de marzo de 1995, por virus de SIDA.
