This is going to get negative feed back but I'll say it anyways.
Bob Mintzer came to my school last year and gave a clinician to the top Jazz Band at our school. He may be a great player, but a real shitty teacher. Basically showed off the whole time.

allow me to enlighten you about the Brecker Brothers(trumpet and sax)... they hardly suck.
They played on early Jaco albums and Word Of Mouth Orchestra gigs.

He was the greatest. It's just a shame he couldn't sort out his private life and didn't accept the help which I guess at the time was in it's infancy, for his illness. I hope both his son's and his former wife are doing well. His ex wife Ingrid was beautiful |
