This video captures every single nuance of 80s overkill, glamour, and excess. And by that I mean it's awesome. It's all the best of Bret Easton Ellis, Tom Wolfe's "Bonfire of the Vanities", Memphis design, modern Japanese aestetics, androgyny, sampling, the merging of electronica and pop, and high-concept videos.
Everything. The years of the 80s were the most extreme in the best and worst of everything. They were not boring. Ever.
