:P No, not when testing the sites on different webbrowsers. But that is Mcrosoft and Apple's fault :)

Ah! Lol. Cool. I guess Linux isn't AMAZING for web editing anyway... EMZ=P

I want to use Safari for webdeveloping testing purposes in Linux. I use Firefox 3 on all my OS's, Vista, XP and Linux...

Well, personally, I prefer Firefox over Safari, so I've not tried. Seriously, you should try Firefox, it's a lot more compatiable and has more support than it use to. EMZ=]

Me too, that's why I use Windows too. But for instance, why iTunes are something that SHOULD be ported to Mac. 1. I can't stand Rythmbox 2. If you have a iPod you won't be able to install new software without iTunes And regarding Safari, have you tried that with WINE/CrossOver? They are the same except one is commercial, and it took me three crashes and 2 hours just to get to Google.

I've had no problems using Firefox under Linux, and there's quicktime plug-ins for online Quicktime content on Firefox, iTunes is easy with crossover, and on the topic of Quicktime again, with VLC media player, that can play .MOVs :P. As for Safari, IMO, FF is better, but I see why you want it, though, Apple has nothing to gain from porting it to Linux :(. Using IE on Linux makes me feel sick!:P. I just hope he/she is a web developer! EMZ=P

It usually pops up when googling for "Sidebar in Ubuntu" why I don't know.

Thnx. Never heard of it before.

Or he needs Shockwave and that doesnt work on Linux. Grr. Why cant Adobe port that? I would like to see QuickTime, iTunes and Safari for Linux too. I tried installing Safari in WINE, but it was a pain browsing, slowest engine I ever used.
