We know it is possible for very good musicians to play crummy music. We also know that bad musicians can actually put out good music (on the odd occasion). This sounds like good musicians warming up, before playing anything.

this music is not always about how nice it sounds. i doubt that if you can't be appreciative enough to respect that these men are offering their souls to the listener and the other musicians, then you haven't yet reached the point in your own musical endeavor where you can touch someone as greatly as any of these people.
