No, there's no way to loose it or money for dying. I died on my 60g horse like 100 times and nothing happened.

Yeah, the rhinos kick ass! i am a level 40 necromancer and i kill Mobs at level 42-44 on 1 single charge. the same in PvP! :) 1 single charge takes 1-2 sec max..

Yeah the mounts are quite alot faster than this now, and they've sorted out their special attacks (before you had to buy riding training apparently)
