I really really like this kind of music and I like this kid. I think the reason that he didn't go all the way is that he's 17. I think that in a few years he will really grow and be a much more mature performer. Having said that, I still really think he deserved to be in the top 12 in American Idol and I'm really looking forward to hearing more from him in the future.

David was one of my favorite season 5 Idols. I attended his concert in Crystal Lake, IL in June '06.
