I love the Mythbusters, but there is one time they've screwed up. And you've guessed it, it's the speed camera myth. When they had a 200+mph Murcielago at their disposal, why only go to 140? And instead use something as ridiculous as a rocket car to do it instead?

How can they be? They took a standard issue british speed camera, and simply went fast enough to avoid the second flash! Ofcourse at over 170mph...

i recently got a photo radar speeding ticket here in Alberta Canada and the picture was taken from the rear as most (maybe all) provinces do not require a license plate on the front of a vehicle ;)

No they didn't. Mythbusters only tested to 140mph. They later revisited the episode with a 200+mph dragster, and beat the speed camera.

That was done with a laser gun, a speed camera generally uses a doppler radar... So this seems plausible |
