He was born in March 4th 1925 and died in November 3rd 2006. He was 81 years old. I stayed in his home in 2002.

I happen to have the DVD of this particular concert, and it was recorded in Japan. Without looking at the cover buried somewhere, I'm not sure it was in Tokyo or Osaka. I don't know if you're aware of it, but there was a huge following for Paul Mauriat in some Asian countries, such as Japan and Korea in the 70's and probably even after that. |
