this is EXACTLY how I felt growing up and not understanding what it was that my mom and her Japanese friends were chattering about!

them: "something-something... JENNIFER!"

and they just laugh, make ambiguous hand gestures and continue to talk amongst themselves. those poor confused reporters! lol
