yeah and also a womens voice tone has that high sound that can pull it off playing the part of a 10 year old boy i cant see a grown man trying to do that unless he has the talent to pull it off but a women playing peter works

but only for role which, like peter, were written for women. Gender bending for roles like, say Judd from Oklahoma!, would really not work

i agree but the reason is a lot of men cant hit the notes that peter has to hit. ideally it should be played by a ten year old boy like in the books but then the lost boys and the darlings have to be very young to young to be doing multiple shows a day. |
