i could give you a great argument but as the guitarist/PG fan i say for all of us FUCK YOU and guitar is well appreciated by all and if you think im wrong where the fuck is VH1's i love the 1790's?!? exactly. It takes great skill on any instrument to play bach, Mozart, pachelbel's music. I dont hate any instruments but someone saying guitarists dont respect music is ignorant.

The beauty of the guitar is that we guitarists can take something beautifully written already, by a great artist, and then make it our own. Add to it, change it, define it to our instrument alone. We are superior to many other orchestral instrumentalists in that we can make pieces our own. The fact that he has he balls to alter bachs toccata is something that desrves credit alone - and then that he pulled it off!!
The guitar is beautiful. Leave it alone.

what's with the ridiculously wide vibrato? Just play the notes... if you want to add some personality learn about classical ornamentation like turns, passing tones, nachschlag, and trills etc...
Why add your lick from "green tinted sixties mind" to Bach's Toccata? I guess Bach isn't good enough for some so they need to spice it up with their own (fecal) material. Not just bad sounding but rather disrespectful. Pretty clear why noone respects guitarists: they don't respect the music.
