I agree the Zoo Band in the Philippines is yet to become popular, but I heard that their Zoology album from the major label MCA-Universal Records is doing GREAT!
As for Pineda + JRNY, they already have a platinum album--Revelation, JRNY is Number 5 as one of the HIGHEST GROSSING CONCERT ACTS OF 2008,their song 'What It Takes To Win' has just been bought by ESPN for their sports channel, and Olympian Michael Phelps just sang Don't Stop Believin, earning JRNY more than $US 60 million!

people here in the philippines are very fond of music, whereas arnel pineda's band is not quite popular because of stiff competition.
i think by God's will, and a lucky break, Arnel Pineda has a has good break when discovered in youtube. a lot of wannabe singers in the Philippines are posting in youtube, charice pempengco was discovered in utube and as popular like other singers in US.

when I mentioned Britons, I am not referring to fans but British music critics, and that is the reason why perry reportedly never read any of his concert reviews!
Perry not being quite a falsetto--well, perry himself admits to using falsetto techniques to reach high notes in one of his interviews...so I rather believe his statement than one from your's!

My British friends are all insane for Perry and would not hesitate to engage in what rhymes with 'duck' had they had the chance. BTW, Perry was never quite a falsetto, and your equating the feminine with weakness is astoundingly antiquated. Grow up and embrace the differences that enrich the arts, then learn to spell "tolerance."

Arnel has a youthful ulnerability/approach-ability, and a more operatic but sometimes unsteady range. Perry is the icon, higher pitched in his earlier years but always in perfect tune, incredibly sexy and maybe bisexual. Twenty years ages anyone, but Perry is doing his best and is reflective. I think Arnel and Steve could be best friends if they tried - and produce one remarkable duet.

1) Pineda has a phenomenal vocal range, FULL-voiced, soaring, masculine and powerful tenor, NO falsetto to reach the high notes...unlike
Perrygay: falsetto voice, weak, feminine/gay voice described by music critics as a baby seal lion asking for help, Britons describe perrygay's voice as a 'duck'! |
