I cannot possibly describe in 500 chars or less how I feel watching this.
They were different from anything before them, at the time they were great and of course today and since I heard a fair amount of music in my life that statement from me contains a lot of respect.
Überweird in a sense yes, but with an, sorry for the superlative, incredible sense for melody and rythmn seldom come by in popular music.
Love them or hate them - but they were different.

oh I'm sure blokes don't want to sing like carpenter. People would ask them: Are you alright? What happened to your manly voice?"

brother and sister (or vice versa) :D

Yeah, we'll blame you for not being born earlier and telling Karen to eat Momma Cass' sandwich then. By the way, there isn't supposed to be an 's' after the apostrophe.

I thought she was getting divorced and was going to sign the divorce papers when she collapsed?

Aww, how tragic. Just think, if Karen Carpenter had eaten Momma Cass's sandwich they might both be alive today.

Yeah, Sarah Palin should have had this playing tonight in St Paul. HA HA.

This has such a wonderful Christian contemporary feel to it. I love this song forever. |
