i was hooked on Mudlark & Greenhouse in high school. my dad had (has?) a few albums, and i made a mixtape of my faves from those 2 albums to listen to on an exchange trip i went on in germany my junior year on '89. riding a train across northern germany with that playin thru my walkman is a great memory

How does he tune his guitar on Girl of the north country?
godlyguitarist43 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
your right , i just realized the songs are named in the description
no wonder i've had trouble finding "june bug"
they don't have the mudlark album available on rhapsody anymore

Eeehh....not quite: the second tune is June Bug (not 'June'), which is on 'Mudlark' (1971). And although The Train And The Gate is on the compilation mentioned it was originally released on 'Burnt Lips' (1978).

I've never found this particular medley on any of his albums but the three songs are called part two, june, and train and the gate
"Part Two" is on the album "Guitar music"
june is on "Clone"
and "Train and the Gate" is on
"Instumentals: The...Chrysalis"
hope this helps people looking for these songs, sometimes there tough to find

I'm probably right up there with your parents. Played in a band for years and back in University at 55 so - he was great when I was young. Still ON apparently |
