hema's debut was dubbed by some critics as a disastrous miscast with raj kapoor, but she was able to survive the controversy with her dream girl aura . the 2 shared good vibes despite hema turning down the role in 3s ,thus becoming the first actress ever to refuse raj kapoor the showman ,but in retrospect this movie has a certain charm with a fragile tender love that a young girl feels for a middle-aged man who plays the dream merchant on screen [and in reality too]. the critics failed to evaluate that the very essence of the movie required the difference in their ages as the main theme demanded and expolited the mismatch as a weakness in the movie. in reality it is rather a unique topic as it highlights the emotions a young girl can feel towards a loving older man . the emotion is neither lust nor predatory but rather based on mutual liking and trust which gives it a surreal maturity as a love story.

Hema is just radiating in this video as if she's a glowing light herself, she could light up the entire night sky just with her luminous smile & spellbinding charisma:) That's God-given magic, awe-inspiring talent, & sensational beauty:) The camera just looooooooooooooves her like no other:) In her beautifully colored dancing costume, she floats from one end of the dance floor to the next, looking like the Indian Classical Ballerina:) THE most elegantly attired "Dancing Goddess & Swan Princess"!

I think you'll deeply enjoy the subtle romance depicted, yet showing the depth of their "true longing" for one another.The unspoken romance that burns within but not in a chaotic, youthful way but in a more mature and serious manner. I think it was one of their finest moments as true artists:) She looked so exquisite in her simplicity and Dharam was his usual "wearing his heart on his sleeve" charmer but in a more subtle manner than he normally portrayed:)Very nice film. She looks angelic in it.

Dear jbz, may I also recommend a sweet and meaningful movie for you to see in case you haven't seen it already? Make sure you watch Dharam & Hema in "Dillagi", it's one of my favorite pairings and films of theirs but it's much much more mature & subtle in its romantic nature than most of their "younger" films. I think you'll enjoy it based on what I've come to know of your taste in Cinema. It depicts Hema's acting prowess so beautifully and they are both every inch the actor/actress in it.
