Idiomatic phrases are part of what give an instrument it's character. It sounds to me like a guitar solo.
I love it, it's unusual. There's nothing wrong with following traditions sometimes though.

Michał Urbaniak jest dobrym Muzykiem.
Kiedyś poznałem kolesia,który napisał pare zjawek dla Urbaniaka.
Mija się cały czas,może się kiedyś odezwie do Blizniaka.Potrzebuje jego rady.

I agree! One great jazz man, however the fusion is not a mainstream jazz and not many folks get it. I love his "talking" violin technique and no one else does it. Also, if you like this recording, then I'd suggest to check out Michal's Manhattan Man. |
