Fedor Emelianenko vs Tim Sylvia In a effort to create a MMA monopoly Pride was bought out by the UFC and they wanted to force the worlds #1 MMA Fighter stop competing in Sambo as part of his UFC contract. Sambo is Russia's national martial art. Of course Fedor did not agree with the terms of the UFC contract. Then the UFC president Dana White says the 11 time Sambo champion sucks because he did not fight any top MMA fighters for two years. Prior to his professional career, Emelianenko compiled an amateur MMA record of seven wins with no losses. Fedor's only so called loss was from an illegal strike and should have been ruled a no contest. Fedor's true MMA record is 35 wins 0 losses and 2 no contests.
