f you take the time to notice, and know something about music the difference is in the song structure and use of "amospheric" playing,which was not seen in the earlier bands..... IE bands like Aerosmith, or any other pre pixie band

Those bands say they were influenced by the pixies yet they do not really sound the same so they are all still original its not like they are rip offs.
