THE ENTIRE Chris "Mad Dog" Russo 2003 SF Giants Rant

ONE TIME! Perhaps the greatest rant in the history of sports talk radio by arguably its greatest ranter (Joe Benigno is right up there). This is why "East Coast Bias" is a fallacy.... no other part of the country cares about sports like this.

Now that he's on SIRIUS/XM, I wonder just how much more raw this tirade would have been?

Made me laugh so hard I'm crying. The person who posted this is dead-on about the "East Coast Bias" being a fallacy. There is no replacing Dog. Ever.

"Win one. I give it all back...One, all I want is just one. UNO!" Now, I don't know how Mad Dog ranks his life in what order, but that's crazy. Giving back his three children for a World Championship?! My goodness.

No offense, but I think the 2008 Patriots collapse is the greatest in sports history. Going 18-0 before the Super Bowl, but losing to the New York Giants and leaving Super Bowl XLII to go 18-1 without a Super Bowl trophy is the biggest choke of them all. The 2004 Yankees collapse was in the ALCS, not the World Series.

I hear what you're saying. However, Roberts's stolen base was probably (singlehandedly) responsible for the 2004 Red Sox beating the Yankees and staging the greatest collapse in sports history. Zito had some good days but Sabean definately overpayed for him last year therebly giving MLB a glass ceiling for signing free agent pitchers.
