I agree with you when you say that the new characters shouldn't exist as it's not original, traditional Thomas, but children still love the show. I think that's really what the Rev Awdry really wanted.

my soon to be 5 yr old just absolutely loves thomas. he has aspergers, which is a high functioning form of autism, and thomas has been known to be a great aid for children with autism

I just went to Wikipedia to check it out... kanninabuay cheebai! Who the f*** is "David Lloyd George" anyway?? And even if he does exist, it still doesn't explain why HIT made Federico-senza-paura to replace Ivo Hugh as #7...

HiT makes Skarloey and Rhenaes the youngest, and Sir Handel (one of the REAL youngest) and Freddie (THE youngest, as he never existed) the oldest... also, they are referred to as cute. These engines are not babies, they are just normal Narrow Gauge engines. Geez, this show is not TTTE - it's two different shows.

Calling All Engines is the best first special HIT produced (ex: they let Bill and Ben, Daisy, George, etc. appear for the first time). Rusty's small gauge model was even used for the first time since Season 5!!!!!:)^__^
Another time was when Skarloey's small gauge model returned for the first time since Season 5, was in an episode called Thomas and Skarloey's Big Day Out. Even though it featured the #1 engines, it was good enough for me!:)^__^
This proves that HIT can sometimes be nice. |
