Okay, this is a great pop song from yesteryear & reminds me of a funny story. My oldest sister, obsessed with The Monkees, had this album & played it every hour on the hour each night after dinner. She'd finish at the table, sprint upstairs & spin this on her record player. Drove my other sister nuts. One night sis #2 hid it on her & just about sent her to the loony bin, tears in her eyes, demanding it be given back. Sis #2 caved & did so, reluctantly. There were high emotions in that house! ha

Ah, me and my mates used to listen to listen to this when coming down from E's and/or acid. What lovely, if somewhat melancholic, memories this song brings. I don't remember much of 2005 or maybe it was 2006, but I get some odd flashbacks listening to this. I think I'll listen to it again. |
