I just took apart my tippmann custom pro e, I bought on ebay I took it apart to first check out why the trigger wouldn't work, figured out it was the battery. Then to figure out how to change the shooting modes, figured out its not a button like i read, it is a screw that turns semi/off/3 burst/off/auto/off/response/off/turbo/off. its a pain in the ass to switch, then I decided to take it apart like this video, mistake at first, this gun is much harder with the electronic hardware. Not too hard.

it's a fantastic gun, lightwieght, very very reliable (the ACT does it's job). But today i had a problem. I don't know if it was the wind or that i had too much pressure in the tank, but my balls went everywhere. Which could be the problem? I've tried using a longer barrel (3x stock), but still accuracy not so good. I think it's the wind because i never experienced so unnacuracy. Still it's the best gun out there (there are better ones i gto to admit, but the 98 gives u the most bang 4 ur buck)

Yep, either a cheap rubber squeegee or a fuzzy battle swab will work fine.

Water and towels to wipe off the paint.
Marker Oil or Pure Lube to lubricate the o-rings. I use Pure Lube which you can buy from Actionvillage. com or pureexcessindustries. com. Pure Lube is great because it works great on O-rings and high friction parts. I also use Gold Cup Marker oil.
Teflon Tape can be picked up at a hardware store or Walmart. Just ask someone in the pluming isle for it. |
